Hi my name is Jack Collins I’m a photographer based out of the Fylde Coast of England. My main passion is film photography and for me this consists of 35mm and 120 film. I adore being out in the street seeing what each day brings. Although I wouldn’t call myself a ‘Street Photographer’ by definition I do find myself in a more urban environment the most so I find it fitting. My work to me is a slow and calm pace through how my brain witnesses the world, I think this is why I have and always will gravitate to film.

I’m not into the whole gear means good pictures but for people wondering my main and only cameras are a Leica M6 with a 28mm Elmarit F2.8 Lens and a Mamiya 7 with the 80mm F4 lens. Also to add the film stocks I gravitate towards are Kodak’s Portra and Ilford’s HP5+ .

The work that can be consumed on this website is going to be the images I think best portray my work as a photographer and how the images best tell stories of what I see in the environments I find myself in.

I’m also hoping to be able to do 1 blog post per month too update on where I’m at and any projects I’m working on and thinking of for the future.
